Buttercup is going to buttercup, there is no stopping him. I wouldn't be surprised to see him hustling teenager slackers at a local bowling alley during the lockout.

I just had to get my 2 cents in before a Red Wings fan could beat me to it

/and by beat me to it, preferably not with a chair - but if it's with a chiar, I can take it, I'm a man, I'm not quite 40

Also, the Stache is going to thrive in Miami

I agree on the Stache. He's going to fit well with that team. With the signing of Tootoo the Wings have an enforcer for the first time in awhile. In the early to mid 80's they were one of the toughest teams in the league. Then Bowman took over. I remember when Joey Kocur ended Brad Dalgarno's career with one punch.

I can't even begin to guess what actually happened, but my spidey sense tells me something is amiss here. He beat her so bad she urinated blood and still can't work 3 years later? Buuuuuut no one saw it. I really can't imagine what could happen in a press box that would prevent me from working again. Except maybe being thrown from the box and onto the ice.

Sounds like a woman looking for a quick buck to me. Sorry but her story just doesn't add up.

No witnesses
No cameras on a GM when a winning game 7 goal is scored showing it

Gotta call bullshit.

Murray probably stormed out and smacked a stool, which fell over into her.

Out of work for 3 years?
Lost house and car?
Yeah right.

Most likely a disgraceful and complete frivolous waste of our judicial system.

If being hit with the chair is what has led to her serious three-year injuries, I would be suing the folks who treated her with an icepack and noticed nothing wrong, too...

Of course, I don't think one strike with a bar stool would be sufficient to cause both the urination of blood and the damage of a shoulder requiring surgery, unless she hit the floor really hard after getting hit.

And why is she suing? Why wasn't it a criminal investigation with, you know, forensics and stuff?

Paris’ lawyers, Mayer Morganroth and Daniel Harold of Birmingham, said they were handicapped by decisions made by Paris’ previous lawyer, who withdrew from the case late last year. They said he failed to include a negligence count in the lawsuit, which would have enabled the jury to award damages to Paris even if they disagreed about whether Murray assaulted her.

“What lawyer doesn’t put a negligence claim in a lawsuit like this?” Morganroth said.

A pretty fucking shitty one...
