Everybody talks about the 27 club, but the 26 club is more exclusive. Mr Miller joins Gram Parsons.

But as for the culture thing, rap will never be my cup of tea. I'm a north GA mountain goat, I just can't relate, but drugs aren't a problem for musicians.

Really I think today's music sucks so much because the artists are too clean cut. There's really not many mainstream acts with a drug or alcohol problem anymore, and they don't have anything fueling creativity.

Whether you like rock or you like country, or if you like both, odds are all over your favorite musicians from back in the day were all either doped up or liquored up all the time. I know mine were from Waylon Jennings having a 1500 dollar per day cocaine habit to George Jones getting a DUI on his lawnmower on his way to the liquor store when his wife hid his car keys. No junk, no soul.

Gone too soon. RIP Mac Miller. Wasn’t a big fan of your music nor the rap music these days, but you were a positive influence & an idol to many. One of Pittsburgh’s golden sons so to speak.

Thoughts & prayers go out to his family, friends & fans.
