Now that's funny as shit right there. Well done.UC Davis is screwed by the time the investigation over this one is completed
I've never been to Louisiana but I have a couple of LSU fans on my Facebook that occasionally post pics of what they've cooked. I'd like to visit there just to eat .. but none of that weird shit like alligator.
I luvs the jambalaya & gumbo down thar in Nawlins, tbh.
Death Penalty...
Sorry, I just watched Pony Excess last night. That is one 30 for 30 that is full of shit. People saying SMU was trying to 'return to their winning ways' - bitch you never had any winning ways prior to that cheating scandal.
Disagree! The first one looks like a bowl of caca, and the second one with the shrimp looks delicious.New Orleans Jambalaya is garbage, like Manhattan Clam Chowder...should be shunned. Gonzales Jambalaya is the shit...
Eat this....
Not that.....
The top pic is dirty rice with sausage, the bottom pick is shrimp gumbo.Disagree! The first one looks like a bowl of caca, and the second one with the shrimp looks delicious.
Yep! Not a fan of dirty rice, but I do love me some shrimp gumbo. The top pic is dirty rice with sausage, the bottom pick is shrimp gumbo.
I dated a gal from Georgia who made a mean dirty rice with sausage. Southern cooking is great until they start getting into that weird shit like eating reptile.Yep! Not a fan of dirty rice, but I do love me some shrimp gumbo.

negative, they are both jambalaya...the first is the good kind, the second is some nasty New Orleans runny ass shit with tomatoes in it.

Regardless of what you call each one, it's a matter of taste. I am very familiar with the Jambalaya in the first pic. Just not a fan of it. However, the New Orleans Creole shrimp looks very tasty to me. I like both Cajun and Creole cooking, but at the end of the day it gets down to the dish.
