Because our first team offense has sucked once again this preseason, something that seems to be over looked is the fact that without two of our top pass rushers, our defense has quietly looked rather good for the most part. We have given up the least amount of rushing yards in the league, and maintained a decent passing defense. Barry might actually be onto something, but considering the talent influx this defense should be much improved if we can stay relatively healthy. Saturday should be interesting to say the least.

Agreed. If this team is going to win any games this year I think defense will have to play a big part in it. Still excited at the thought of improved line play and Gallete on the opposite side of Kerrigan.

Thanks for starting this thread, it is a hopeful one that just might get those images of wide open opposing receivers in our secondary from last year out.

Going to say it again. As they lower the amount of time that coaches have to work on conditioning and contact, we will see these season ending non contact injuries increase more and more.
