Rough way to lose for the Denver Broncos:

The Good:
  • The resiliency of the team to make it a game at the end.
  • The defense sacked Stroud 5 times in the 2nd half.
  • Broncos had very few penalties
  • The amount of Broncos fans in the stands was a sight to see.
The Bad:
  • Pass coverage. Collins had a career high in yards.
  • Broncos inability to convert a 3rd down for the first 3 quarters of the game.
The Ugly:
  • Wilson's interceptions. Came at the worst time.
  • Singleton's stupid personal foul penalty in the first quarter.
  • Offensive yards for the first 3 quarters. Punt, punt and punt some more.
It was great to have a chance at the end of the game but the pick in the end zone was crushing. Four chances, no cigar.

The Bad:
- Payton's play calling in the final seconds, starting with 1st and goal
- Russ' INTs at the worst possible moments

The Ugly:
- Receivers wide open that Russ doesn''t see .. Jeudy had more space around him than a leper in a mosh pit
- Russ is now underthrowing the long ball .. It's not bad, it's ugly

I couldn’t see the game.

Obviously it’s out new POTM award winner’s fault.

We turned our season around the month I was POTM(including breaking our losing streak against the Chiefs), shame some people couldn’t match my high energy.

Wilson missed a wide open Judy underneath to win the game and instead tried to force it to Sutton in the back of the end zone

I enjoyed the game - in this case the breaks went the other way. Demeco Ryan is a really good coach. I also didn't like the Payton play calling on the last series, or Wilson looking per much only for Sutton.

The team has a long way to go but let’s not overlook something that could be encouraging the rest of the way.

Shroud did move the ball well, but overall the defense played extremely well, keeping scoring to 22 points, some of them on short fields.

There has been a narrative that this defense lives and dies off turnovers and I think yesterday’s performance shows us they can play winning defense even without generating turnovers.

It’s not the defense’s fault the offense gave it up 3 times, so still consider their performance winning defense. They had the team in a position to win the game at the end.

Huge setback and very disappointing loss, but not the end of the season.

What's the old saying - "I just threw up a little in my mouth" ?!?! ..

Well, this is more like "I just hit the far wall with a blast of explosive diarrhea"

Wilson sucked. His vision is bad.....like really bad.
Singleton got baited into a PF by Stroud. Dumb move by him but he has just been bad this year.
Just a poor performance

This loss was especially heart wrenching. Defense played well enough to win despite zero help from the offenses 3 and outs. I question why Surtain wasn’t locked on Collins all game. Singleton actually played decent surprisingly. He however ruined a decent game with the absolute dumbest penalty one could take and cost the team at least 4 points

Singleton makes some great plays, and he makes some very bad plays - on top of that he is overall a poor tackler. Won't somebody rid me of this linebacker?

This is what I make of Singleton. He was very good last year, started off very poor this year and now we are seeing the inbetween in him. He is better then he was at the start of the year, not as good as he was last year. Plays out of position a lot. Reminds me a bit of Kenny Young when we traded for him but better. Young was about the most out of position LB I have ever seen in a Broncos uniform but people liked him because he could "hit"

Singleton is 5th in the NFL in tackles so there is that. He is no longer standing with his finger up his rear end like he was at the start of the year.

Overall tackles numbers are a bit misleading. Singleton's contract makes it likely he is back next year with a $5.6 million dead cap and under $2 million in cap savings. Hopefully Drew Sanders makes the 2nd year leap.

I think we need to keep in mind that Alex Singleton was brought in as a backup/special teams player ..

No matter what the long term forecast was for him, I'm not sure how many Bronco faithful would have guessed that - when we signed him - he'd be a multi year starter, survived multiple head coaching changes, and a leader in team and NFL tackles ... all coming at a very good price

I think his adrenaline is a double edge sword -- he made the 4th down stop vs the Bears ( when the Bears elected to not go for the FG ) and then his hyper style of play will cause him to overpersue or whiff sometimes ..

Cost / production, I think he's been a very good Bronco
