Yeah let's pull the goalie and give Tarasenko a hat trick. Jim Fox must have watched a different game than I did. He's saying the Kings played a strong game. I saw portions that were pretty strong but overall it looked to me like the Blues had control of the game after they made it 2-1 and they flat out completely controlled the 3rd period.

First off the captain took an offensive zone penalty because he couldn't keep his stick on the ice and clipped one of the Blues in the chin. Before the St Louis power play was 30 seconds old the Kings (Stoll?) took a tripping penalty because not moving the feet and getting caught behind. On the 1:36 or so 2-man advantage the Blues tied it up with quick puck movement and getting an open shot at an open net. About just as much time more and it was 3-2 on a 1-man advantage. It was all over but the shouting from that point on. The Kings pretty much screwed the pooch in the 3rd. One shot on goal during the 3rd period? Are you kidding me!

Quick looked awful tonight. Some of those were not remotely close to being screened and he flat out whiffed it.

Of course I'm saying this because I have Jones in the FHL...but me thinks he needs to play a bit more. Quick has looked off a bit recently.
