Brown certainly has had his issues the past two seasons, but he may have just had a series saving shift.

I was ripping on Brown all game long. My wife and I play a game "Who can spot Dustin Brown falling down first" every one of his shifts. Hilarious! (I'd make that a strip game but we'd both be naked and totally distracted by the middle of the first period every game. [maybe not such a bad idea])
But the Captain came through old-school Dustin on that OT play. Come back, Dustin, we need more it it!

I laugh at how often Brown falls as well. This game the Sharks got on him all game long, hopefully it pissed him off enough to get that edge back. I don't expect him to score but making the timely hits like that one at least contribute.....turning point for him hopefully

Brown has been one of the Kings better play all series, which isn't saying a whole lot. He's been taking the body quite a bit, Lucic has been awful. Sure he had the big assist, but other than that he has taken dumb penalties and been almost invisible. Gaborik has shown some good speed and playmaking, but other than that the team has looked horrible. They are getting beat in all areas of the rink and feels like they are not getting any decent shots on goal. Sharks are doing a great job of clogging up the shooting lanes and Kings aren't finding creative ways around that.

Lucic has also been HORRIBLE at trying to clear the puck, leading to multiple Shark. Interesting to see how he hung out soberly at the bench after Pearson's goal and shook hands with Sutter with his head down and Darryl patted him lightly on the back.

I don't think the Sharks wanted to go up 3-0 against the Kings again. Game 4 should be very interesting. This has been the best series so far, all the games have been very competitive.

BTW, I can't say this enough, but I love your banner. What a great tribute to such a great person.

RIP Ox, we really miss you.

This was hilarious, this Sharks fan thought the Sharks won in OT. Click on the picture to see the video.

Last tidbit on the series so far; some notes from Sutter

“I thought the best game we played was Game 2 by a significant margin,” Darryl Sutter said.

The data backs him up.

GM /// 5×5 Corsi F|A /// Scoring Chances F|A /// High-Danger Chances F|A
1 /// 39|44 /// 17|29 /// 7|18
2 /// 51|35 /// 27|19 /// 12|7
3 /// 38|45 /// 17|23 /// 9|12

Where has the improved defensive play come from?

I don't think Brown played well in the 1st 2 games (I would say it was typical of his play now), he had some hits but most where meaningless. Game 3 he was making hits on the right guys and they were going after him for it. Lucic I agree has been kind of horrible especially since this is supposed to be why he is here, but then again most of the forwards and even DD have played subpar thus far....perhaps its the Sharks but we saw this play a lot toward the end of the season so I think its the Kings more then anything....which is good since they can fix it themselves if they want
