Got a little too close for comfort there at the end but they held on to get number 8. Most likely a little tired with the back-to-back games. And then Calgary has all those young legs creating the pressure.

Pearson had a good game, liked the play of him sealing the puck with his body, taking a hit and passing to Toffoli for a good chance. Him and Toffoli were also on the PK together.

Pretty sure everyone saw this coming, with the format change they were going to have to beat a lot of good teams now instead of feasting on the Edmontons, Calgarys, etc. of the world and then touting to the world how great they are.

The sisters are now 33 and no longer what they were, and how a team goes from having two of the best goalies in Schneider and Luongo a year ago to Eddie Lack and Maarkstrom is mismanagement of epic proportion. Losing that contract was good but that's about it.

It's rebuild time in Vancouver, should be interesting to see how they do it: right or to placate the fans.

Did not see that game but 7 goals in the third is crazy. Nucks have to be in meltdown mode.

The Canucks actually tied that game up at 4-4 after blowing a 3-0 lead. The Isles scored 10 seconds later before adding two more. You want to watch something funny, watch the replay of that goal and Tortorella's reaction. I can't stand that guy or that team, but I remember what that felt like when it seemed the Kings were destined to always have something tragic happen...
I love that the Kings culture has changed and never want to return to those days. Though sometimes I have to admit the thoughts creep back in when I'm not careful...like before the Olympic break.
