Not saving that.
Just sayin Lucic has a history of getting caught retaliating and could easily have gotten two games. He must have made a good case to only get one. They don't call unless they already think you are guilty. They announvpced via Twitter that they (the they is dept of player safety) were calling him in for a " sucker punch/roughing". No way after sending out that message was he getting a fine or less.

I know that's not what you where saying.....just that if im reviewing the play and see a guy slash a "Lucic" like that and run away I would need to take that into account...its not like Lucic went after him for something that happened earlier in the game or a past game, it just happened and he should have expected Lucic to come at him. Of course he deserves the game....

That's exactly why he only got 1 game. The irritating part to me was if you look at the replay, after the slash there was no call by the refs. They flat out missed it, which is why (I think) he went apeshit. Only after congregating and seeing video replay did the refs call the slash on that guy.

The play was over too and still no arms up, I don't blame him for getting angry - that slash was well placed and deliberate, you don't play in the NHL and miss a guy's gloves, sticks or anything else by accident. That looked like it hit the unprotected part of the wrist above the cuff of the glove and under the elbow pad, if you've never experienced that, trust me it hurts BAD. He's lucky it wasn't broken.

I think he should have followed the code and engaged with him but I don't blame him for the response. I would have loved to see Captain Dumbshit Doan come over and get into it with Lucic, but I don't think he played that game. Either that or he sucks so bad I may have just missed him.
