Gtown always disappoints in the tourney. Usually have great spurts before that especially non conference.

As I say this they happen to be giving Maryland hell. Odd team already.

I am not too worried about making the tournament. I think we'll be somewhere between a 5-8 seed. This is a very young team, and we'll have our struggles, but I'd be pretty shocked if we miss out entirely.

Tulsa, Temple, UConn, UC all have a legit shot for the NCAA's (No SMU due to penalty), and don't sleep on Houston either. The biggest thing they lacked last year was depth. They had some really good transfers and JUCO's step in this year and I expect them to be much better. The could easily be a surprise team.

I know you and I disagree about Memphis, but I think they could be another potential NCAA Tournament team, especially with the way they played against Oklahoma. Probably should have won that game.

We'll see.

They did play very well, but that hasn't been their problem, really. The problem they seem to have is the same that G-Town has year in and year out...they can get up for the big games, and then lose to teams they have no business losing to. G-Town has the Big East (Though not as good as it was) to help them as well as the bigtime national image. They'll always get the benefit of the doubt come tourney time. Memphis...not so much, and especially after missing last year, and of course the AAC doesn't often help.

We'll see though, it'll be interesting once league play begins. If I'm wrong, I'll still be here.
