You are looking at the wrong rankings. The Elo_Chess is used in the BCS....

I thought this was funny a couple weeks ago.

For the first 6 weeks of the season... GT's ranking in the ELO_CHESS was right on par with its poll rankings. After the loss to UVA, when GT was 6-1, they dropped all the way to #42.
