I agreed 100% with him. The receiver is no longer defenseless if he has control of the football and the defender is not going for the head, which Nelson obviously was not. It was a horrendous call, but in the end, we made them go three and out following that play. It made no difference in the game unless it caused the defense play soft and not as physical in the last several minutes of the game due to that penalty, which in turn cost us the game.

I tend to believe we played soft regardless just because we looked defeated in that last 7 minutes.

you could feel the loss coming...the play calling was so good in the 1st qtr., I didn't recognize our team....then..I don't know..coaching?...adjustments?...I don't know
