That's exactly why he got behind the D, though, is it was 1st down. They weren't expecting him to go deep. It was simply a shitty throw, another two yards on the ball and it's a TD and we're all thrilled.

Do it on third. Don't do it on first. Nobody expects it because its poor decision making. Hell, do it on fourth. It's not like we're going to try and make a field goal.

I don't disagree that it was a bad idea. But a better throw equals a TD. I would have dialed up a run there regardless.

Seem like ive seen this game a million times. Play good between the 20's. Keep shooting self in foot. Defense cant get stops when we need. The ONE time we get ball with the lead, we go 3 and out. Blah!

Eghhhhh, he underthrow Ebron on that junk in week one. Under three CJ on it early on the dropped TD. Under three there. It's his MO.

Hurts far more than it helps. That's why I liked CJ on slants with Linny calling plays. Lessened the odds of that happening.

But when the primary read and best WR in football has a step on both defenders and is running to the endzone it's awfully hard to blame the QBs decision to throw it.
