Good thing we now have two weeks to get healthy. CJ should be full strength. However, losing Fairley for an extended period won't be good.

Not at all, but in my opinion the Lions didn't win this game as much as Atlanta lost it.

Get the Ws however you can get em. Having games handed to us is far better than what we've seen in the past where we give them away. Come playoff time it won't matter if Atlanta gagged.

You can say that every game when a teams up 21. Atlanta just wasn't smart in the 2nd half.

Personally, I think both the offense and defense stepped up ad made a few plays to win the game. Atlanta did a few dumb things but its not like they just laid down and handed the game over. The hold call on them was huge.

Stafford stepped up in the second half and played the way we expect him to play. Defense also played more like what we accustomed to.


No one has been able to answer why we came out in the first half with such a shitty game plan. I am befuddled. Why do we have to dig a whole in the first half every week before finally deciding to play for real?

A lot of posters have said what I was also thinking. A win is a win. But dam, I have seen the Lions lose so many heart breakers and now the games they should lose, they win. The # 1 D didn't look so hot in the 1st half, but they turned that shit around in the 2nd. The O looked ok this morning ''2nd half''. Im sure glad they picked up Tate.

First it wasn't a bad call. The tuck rule and continuation are bad rules. This was the Lions didn't get the play off in time. And 99% of the time it hurts them not helps them.

The Lions played well in the second half and Atlanta played awfully. It was a sloppy game with questionable calls that affected both teams. Thats football and as a Lions fan I think the call naturally go against Detroit. Today they didn't and I could care less if anyone thinks this was a bad rule ptr a tainted win. Come Monday Detroit is 6-2 and in first place.
