Nick the Nerf, Don Cary, and DeAndre Levy all were huge in today's win.

We held the Bears to 38 total rushing yards...

Is it too late to have Jason hanson make one more run at it? I don't trust D Akers. Hanson's only problem last year was on kick offs.

Sam Martin on the other hand is awesome (aside from one punt this season). He is huge for our field position.

Also, the offensive line was fan fucking tastic today.

this win is really on the bears coaching staff. Why the hell was cutler playing? Ok even if he was playing, why did he play in the 2nd half? Ok even if he did play in the 2nd half, why did he play in the 4th quarter? With a receiving core like Marshall, Jefferey, and Bennett, all they need is a functioning QB

I honestly hope Mathis is locked in a starting CB spot.. I mean a top 2 position.. He is probably the best or 2nd best of a bad bunch.. He doesn't hurt the team nearly as much as Slay.. I wish we had him in his prime... He used to be a stud lockdown Corner..

I'm not sure that's a fair assessment. I'm not in the business of defending Jay Cutler but he made some really good throws in the first half. He wasn't as sharp in the second half, gotta give the Lions D credit for some of that. Don't look at McCown and think his TD drive was a sign of him being the better QB. Blaine Gabbert could have led a scoring drive against the soft defense we inexplicably decided to play on that final drive.

Slay is a rookie taking his lumps. I'm not gonna write him off just yet like you seem to be doing. Give him some time atleast.

I wouldn't even say he is. We run a shit ton of packages with 5 DBs. Mathis is playing just as much as Slay. And don't forget Mathis got beat by Marshall for the last TD. He makes mistakes too.

Do u have a snap count stat? I know I don't so I can't verify one way or another. But to matter of factly say Slay sees more plays than Mathis is baseless.

Earlier in the game especially in the first half, Slay had more plays.. Now conveniently that was when Cutler wasn't injured and getting more production..

Levy was never garbage. He was an average LB but never garbage. There are players between all pro and garbage FYI.
