It's unreal. This offseason went from almost outstanding to shit just like that. What can you do? We almost have to make a trade now, and in doing so, we will get fleeced. I'm on the phone with the Sabres today to inquire about available dmen. I think a deal can get done and it won't kill us.

I think the knock on Lauridsen is that he still makes way too many young mistakes to play at the NHl level. Soon though. As ti is, they have 8 on the depth chart ahead of him.

I don't think this changes anything, hopefully gervais is the next to go down though, I think bourdon and Gus would take the 5/6 spots over getvais and lilja anyway. Don't like an all young guy pair though, wonder if they'll shake it up.

Don't be surprised to hear JayBo to Philly in the next or two. I think Homer is going to try to make a trade. I hope not. Trade with Buffalo. They have good young talented dmen and much less in trade than Calgary. On another note, the closing ceremony is awesome. I got the chills from the Jon Lennan and Pink Floyd show.

Coburn would be destructive beyond words. We're going to need a lot out of that guy this year - he's going to have to step it up on Offense, for one thing. Some of the young guys are definitely going to see playing time this year.

i think coburn is the lynchpin to the flyers success this season. if he plays like i think he can, the flyers will be fine on defense. if he doesnt, we could be in trouble.

Coburn could play like Lindstrom this year and our D wouldnt be fine. We are pretty much the same with all the injuries. I dont see us making any progress in having less GGA with the d that have currently in place. We either have to have all our front line playing D like the Rags do or we need to make a move

MDZ can be had if not let the Rags over pay we just need to make an offer.
