Lightning VS Sabres - GNT

Another game that the Sabres must win if they are to assure themselves a spot in the PO's.

When the Sabres had 12 games left in the season, Ruff said that they would need to go 7-5 and get 14 more points. Since he said that, the Sabres are 6-1-2 and have those 14 points, but it looks like they will need at least 3 more in the last 3 games.

The Bolts have been on fire lately after falling into a slump, and while they don't need to win to make the PO's, they are trying to leap over the Pens for the 4th spot, and get home ice.

This will be the 4th and last meeting between these 2 teams in the regular season. The Bolts took the first 2 games, but the Sabres won the last meeting 7-4 behind Stafford's hat trick.

It also looks like Vinny will be back in the line-up as his eye injury isn't that severe.

Here's hoping for a great game with not injuries.

I don't understand how some people can be saying that there is a goalie controversy brewing in Buffalo with the way Enroth has been playing.

I don't think for one second that the Sabres wouldn't start a healthy Miller in favor of Enroth. Miller is out starter and that's it.

Enroth has shown that he can be a gret back-up when he is called upon, but he has only played a small amount of games, and you can't use that as a measuring stick for how he would do if he started 65 games in a season.
