lets take stock of what we have

1) our GM is the best in the business . give him 2 more good drafts and some good FA signings and we can compete for championships

2) our coaching staff is pretty darn solid our HC made some gutsy calls and they came out right
A) callahan did a fine job with our young o/line and it should only get better he milked a playoff run out of ribeye at center . he made moses a viable RT . Long grew as the season went on . next season i expect KUJO could make a run
B) sean mcvay . he got the most out of KC , the most out of crowder , he made do with a decimated TE corp and Reed had that long elusive "break out year " thompson had a career year

C) barry did well as a DC . yeah some will cringe at that but lets take a look at it . first off he took blacmon , foster off the streets and in minimum time got them to be viable players . he nursed a crappy safety position all year . he took a rookie FA wr and turned him into a promising CB he took a 6th round draft pick at safety and turned him into a productive slot corner . baker had a career year with him smith exploded under him , murphy turned out to be our highest graded OLB under him will compton flourished under him say what you want but in year one he did well

we have a decent cap picture , our draft picks appear to be in order so this could be a very big off season for us

Great post Skinsdad. Compare this to 2012 when the postseason involved a lot of issues. You had the RG3 injury and all of the related drama. They were also missing their 1st round pick. The FO was somewhat of a question mark, and you had a defense that played pretty poorly for most of the season & had coaching issues. By comparison this offseason should be considerably better.
