Off to a good start, when this one and the worst we can do is a 3-3 roadtrip.

They're starting to make believers out there. Unfortunate couldn't get another inning or so out of AJ, but dang that ump has a tight strike zone. The walks AJ gave up were rough.

Big night for McGehee single, homerun, and breaking up the double play to extend the second inning. I hope Hurdle gives him another start.

when everyone is doing a bit on offense, it is amazing how much pressure that seems to take off of each one individually and now they arent pressing. they seem to be more relaxed and confident that several 'little' plays will add up to a run or two rather than everyone swinging for the fences or relying on cutch to score runs.

Looks like a lot of guys are waking up at once. I know this isn't the best offensive team, but they shouldn't have a slew of guys with an OPS under. 600

Would love to see them get to Cueto tonight.

cutch seems to be the dumbest baserunner we've had in a long time.
for all the raw speed (have never seen a 40 time or home to first time, he gets PO or CS a high proportion of the time. cant they get davey lopes to just tutor him a bit, or moreno, or someone. it is such a waste of one of our greatest raw resources.

didnt cutch get thrown out on tuesday when he tried to advance on a ball that got away on the catcher. that is 2 nites in a row, losing a baserunner with your cleanup hitter at the plate.
