It's too bad, I've been to a few games in jobing and it a nice arena. Next to University of Phoenix football stadium and has places to shop, eat/drink right there. Phoenix area is big, but getting interest is tough...

This is true. That little sports complex is quite nice. BUT it isn't close to anything else. No idea why it's way out in Glendale but it's horrible. I wouldn't want to attend games there on regular basis.

the land was cheap and i think the original developer wanted to build a brand new supercommunity tied to retail / commercial ... if you build it they will come
