watching this kid play. Wow. What a fantastic player he is. Alas we are stuck with overrated Jordan Howard whom all the blind morons on here thinks he’s so great. The quality of skill sets between Howard and Fournette is like night and day.

:boink:

Jags O-line is arguably better and Fournette only averages 3.9 ypc.
Bears O-line is arguably worse and was more predictable and yet Howard still powered his way to 4.6 ypc.
Guess that makes me a blind moron.

BS just needed his daily dose of attention. Nothing really to see here. I look forward to the day when folks will just ignore these little cries for help.

No, no... How dare you bring something silly like "facts" or "data" into this conversation?

Fournette's pass catching ability would be nice in Nagy's system. But Howards running from shotgun formation will be huge too.

Fournette isn't a very good receiver. 36 rec 302 yards 1 TD

Yeldon took on the passing down role as the season went on, as Fournette had his ups/downs with receiving.

can't say I watched any Jax games, but there's no evidence for that in the statistics.

Howard is a decent back but just how good is he? In consideration of precipitating factors, such as injuries to the offensive line, an inept passing game, and predictable play calling, labeling him overrated is premature. This last season, opposing defenses usually had 8 or more loaded in the box, which of course, placed the running game at a disadvantage. Howard had a better season the previous year with Cutler under center, probably because the passing game had better success thus keeping defenses 'honest'. So, with a new coach staff coming in and expected changes to the offense, we should see a better season for Howard... If not, he may be overrated as the OP suggests.

It's always humerus to see ignorant fans break down a complex game with such simple explanations

Essentially what you are saying is: "Howard had a better year before because last year the defenses had 8 in the box"

lol. So simple.

Fournette was banged up towards the end of the season and yet his pass catching numbers stayed the same the whole year. Lets not go here. There's a mile difference between Fournette and Howard as far as pass catching is concerned. Howard is abysmal at catching the ball.

I thought that everyone is banged up and a guy playing with an injury didn't matter? This is what you told me when I pointed out that Howard had been playing with a separated AC joint in his shoulder since mid-September.

Their numbers say otherwise.

What a dope.

"Extenuating circumstances such as injuries, poor o-line play, lack of passing attack...those things do not apply for Howard, only for every other running back.

Statistics have no meaning when they don't line up with my argument."

Umm dumb dumb, you just made my point. Even though Fournette was injured towards the end of the season, his receiving numbers didn't change. In other words, his injury didn't matter at all when he was on the field.

Damn you are dumb.

Once again the idiots come out in full force.

One simple explanation of "they had 8 in the box" isn't the sole reason why Howard had a down year compared to last. That was my point.

Get it retard?
