I like your beard.
Flyers waive Leighton. Makes sense with Bob playing pretty well...interested to see if anyone picks him up the first go around.
A move had to be made. Keeping 3 goaltenders is not quite ideal. And, IMO, Leighton is the worst of the 3, so hooray!

Has anyone really pulled away this season yet? I just feel like it's not ideal to not have a solid number one. The tandem has been shown to work, it motivates well, but not having a guy solidify his position isn't the best situation, IMO.
Talk about throwing the guy under the bus.
Leighton had 1 start this year and, after shaking the rust from not playing for 6 months, was outstanding in the 3rd period. Those 20 minutes were better than any 20 minutes Bobrovsky's had since November.
But you don't cut a guy after 1 start when your other 2 options have combined for 1 good start in the last 2 weeks. Holmgren's making space. Something else is happening soon.

let's keep in mind that in those 2 weeks, the other goalies have played 4 games.. sooo 3 bad games.
2 played by bobrovsky who you already mentioned hasn't had a good period a month
so 1 bad game from boosh. should they have cut him for going 7-1-1 in the last 9?
Yea, but both Boucher and Bobrovsky played and failed miserably against Florida (Boucher's lone goal in the 3rd was horrible) and Vancouver, so I consider that as 4 bad games instead of 2.
