The needs remain the same pass rusher and interior lineman this year. So if you felt Sherff was the best pick at 5 you should be banging the table for Lamp at 17. Or you reasoning doenst make any sense at all.

Neither is OLB. OG is still a huge need. Why cant you just admit that this team values moses over Tm? THis draft will prove that.

Lamp is closely graded to Scherff so its basically the same thing. IF we had the 5th pick this year you would take Lamp over Allen. Even if Scherff wasn't on the team. This is your reasoning that people don't understand.

nfl.com draft grades. Scherff 6.4 and Lamp is 6.2. I think that is very close. Forget different players its about when positions are taken in the draft.

Scherff was a top ten player in what admittedly was considered a lackluster draft in 2015. there were only about eight guys considered top ten type picks in 2015, and Scherff was one of them. Most of the D-line, and Secondary talent that year was considered average, and aside from possible reaches there were not alot of quality QBs in that draft, or so it was thought.

This year is considered a bit more talented of a draft, and as such, Lamp is NOT considered a top ten pick. Now would he be a solid pick at 17?? Very much so.. but I also think if the Skins dont grab what most would consider an impact position at 17, the twitter bitching over a pick of Lamp might bring the internet to a slow crawl five minutes after the pick.

Grade wise Scheff was the 10th overall player in the draft. Winston and Marroita were quality QB's in that draft. Williams got a grade of 7.5. Im going to prove this year that Lamp who has a close grade to Scherff is probably going to be a mid to late frist round pick. that is where OG's go and Skinsdad refuses to admit that.
