Huskers won one more than I thought they would over-all, and 2 more than I expected w/in conference play.

As sloppy as Pelini's teams have played, I in no way thought we would get this far. I'm amazed. My hat is off to the coaches and the players on a job well done.

Today the defense played great for the most part, but the offense most certainly should have scored 10 to 14 more points.

By the way, there are quite a few posters here who thought Steinkuhler was slow and not a very good player. Since he'll be out now, do you think it will hurt us, or help us?

Steinkuler being hurt is not to our advantage. He's been playing decent ball in last few weeks.

I don't think Steinkulers been a playmaker in the past few weeks, but I don't think hes been getting his shit pushed in like he has the previous 4 years and beginning of this season. He's been filling his role, and I think if someone can just do their part we should be fine. Losing a member of our LB Core or Secondary would be much more difficult to replace.
