True, playoff implications makes the play worse but Green also clinched the win for the other team. Just no playoff implications. Both are definitely Shaqtin a Fool worthy.

No excuse for either. The circumstance is far worse in the first, but Green's play was much dumber, IMO.

Because of the angle where the guard drove from to try and kill the clock and how he delivered the pass, I can at least understand how the player became disoriented. I don't think I have ever seen a player take that angle toward his own basket while trying to avoid the foul. It was an odd play. When the scorer caught the ball, instincts took over.

Green's came directly off a FT miss from his opponent. The only way that happens is if he is completely out to lunch.

Yeah, that was the first thing I noticed. In fact, until he passed it, I thought the guard was going to be the one that made the shot.

Maybe they thought it has switched to a half court game? They'd have been good then because the ball was cleared past the 3 point line.
