I only know Justine Henin when she played. It was a thing of beauty. I think all coaches now would discourage female players from developing a one handed bh.

The silent one handed bh has been replaced by two haded trampoline shots with an earth shattering grunt!!

I wish it wasn't so, but I think I agree, female players are discouraged from it.

Francesca Schiavone also had a one handed backhand. But for the sake of this thread, she was also right handed.

When she beat Stosur at the French Open Finals in 2010, it was fun to watch her use that backhand to all parts of the court.

Roberta Vinci, who made the 2015 US Open Finals, also had a one handed backhand.

She was also right handed.

Between Schiavone and Vinci, I wonder if Italians are more likely to learn a one handed backhand, compared to other nations. Then again, this sample size is just two.

Flavia Pennetta and Sara Errani were had a two handed backhand.

Who are the ones, even if they aren't of consequence? I think I saw a list a few days ago, but I hadn't heard of any of them.

Ok, here's the one handed list, I'll look through them to see if any are lefties.
