Damn shame that Doug and Eric feel they have to sneak productivity(AP) into the building, while Dan and Bruce hold the door open for productivity(Garçon, Jackson, Cousins, K. Shanahan, McVay) to walk out.

Interesting tidbit in that thread. I wasn't aware that Doug Williams signed AP without the knowledge or consent of Allen or Snyder. Guess it ruffled some feathers. Lets see. Doug signed AP for a 1 year vet minimum deal and he is one of the leaders in rushing YTD. Sounds to me like they should tell Doug to go find more instead of beating him down for a good signing. This is indicative of why the Redskins have not sniffed any long term success since Snyder became owner.

Doug needs to watch out. We all saw how the got rid of the last GM. They will stoop very low to get someone to quit.

Guys signing players without permission from bosses is a big deal .. yes they should be happy but as a former boss at one time (not in football) Doug did a big No No but that be like a team leader telling the employees to go home 2 hours early from there shift you have no power to do that same with Doug.. I would be pissed to

With Bruce and Dan it's all about getting credit more than just winning. They drafted RG3, that's why he got so much rope. That's why they fired Mike and Kyle. RG was THIER idea and they were hellbent on making it work because of that.

Mike drafted Kirk. That's why Kirk never got that same love from Dan and Bruce.

Dan would rather be the captain of a sinking ship than a passenger on a smooth sailing one. For decades he thought he could get away with it because The Skins were impossible to not make money off of. The home openers horrid attendance rate showed that eventually apathy will set in and drive fans away.

Doug did an interview on 690 and spilled the beans himself. There is an obvious power struggle going on right now with people looking out for their own asses.

Doug is saying AP was my idea and everyone including Dan needs to know that. Bruce told Doug not to answer his phone on the Smith trade. Why did he leak that? He wanted everyone to know that was his idea.

May be small, but the white pants signals to me Bruce has lost some or all of his power. If Brian LaFamina is doing a lot of what Bruce used to do, and Doug and Eric are going rogue because they dont trust Bruce's football acumen, that says a lot.

If the season turns sour and heads roll, I think Doug and Eric want Dan to know that, hey, AP was our idea. Don't look in this direction. We are doing our job.

Bruce has to be feeling the pressure. Your subordinates are doing shit behind your back and your boss hired a guy to do most of what your job title entails.

Doug admitted he and Eric brought in AP behind Bruce and Dan's back.

wow. It was the right move. I wanted AP last year. lol. I didn't think Dan make any personnel decision anymore. I cant imagine this offense without AP.

I assume the bigger issue for Dan is that Doug leaked it. Dan's known since the minute AP arrived that he, nor Bruce were consulted? So why is it such a problem now?

It's because now, Dan and Bruce cant puff their chest out about APs success.......so far, and more importantly it has to be very embarrassing for Dan amongst the other owners.

Why would that be embarrassing? I don't know? Most competent franchises let their GM bring in guys for workouts without having to run it up stairs, but this is the Redskins we are talking about.

Of course I dont know this for a fact, but knowing this team and the way it's been run, that's my best guess.

Dear Bruce;

Go the hell away!! If, as rumored, the Raiders are interested in your services, don't hesitate, take the job. I've read this story and unsurprisingly, you have no instinctual managerial skills. The story is now in newsfeeds that Dan Snyder, your boss is upset because of a move that supposedly neither of you knew about. This move no matter how out of order, has helped the team and nowhere in your self gratifying, small self serving world did it occur to you that none of this had to be?

How difficult could it have been for you to privately dress down Williams and Schaffer, report the move to Snyder as a collaborative effort and kept it all in-house? It's obvious that your best move is to let all of this go public in order to undermine who gets credit and align yourself with the boss's public temper tantrum. Now that it's out, I want to you to keep this in mind...the other side of the coin...If the team continues to be successful with Peterson, how long will it be before your boss, Dan Snyder, figures out that your admission of zero knowledge, also means that he doesn't need you!
