At one point this season people in L.I. were getting tickets for as little as 5 to 10 bucks on stubhub to see the Isles.

Maybe it won't seem so bad when you consider many people probably started a "Leafs Playoff Ticket Bank Account" and have been putting funds into it since the last time they made the playoffs. The interest alone should cover their first round tickets.

I could go for it if I was a fan and saw them as a genuine contender.

Obviously anything can happen, but I don't think there's too many people out there who expect the Leafs to make a legit run in the playoffs.

That would be roughly 4 or 5 times the regular season value, at least for the "cheap" seats. As much as MLSE are money grubbing pricks, I honestly can't seem them gouging the fans like this. I haven't seen or heard of this rumour on the unofficial Leafs site (leafsconnected.com) so I'm guessing it's someone trying to create shit.

I just read on the Isles fansite that somebody got 2 tickets to game 3 at the NVMC for $68 a piece from Ticketmaster. That's including fees.

They said the seats are in section 314 which is in the upper bowl.
