He just looked way out of position on that shot (I swear half the goal was uncovered)... he may very well have been trying to look around the screen... regardless... Caps can score in bunches...

I meant TWICE a game. Semin is such an enigma.

Honestly, I really have no idea.. I was mid sentence/post when the goal was scored... I will defer to you who is paying attention to the game... all I know is the little I saw and the assumption I made.

Alrighty folks... have a good game, the Pens are about to start (if anyone wants to start a GNT, be my guest, I am 0-? when I have started them, I am done for the year).

So since we're inbetween periods right now...

I was looking at jerseys today. I still have not bought one of the "new" (I know, they're several years old now) jerseys and I've never had a jersey with a player's name on it in my life. Here are my nominess, who do you guys think I should get?

Perreault - 85
Carlson - 74
Steckel - 39
Varly or Neuvy

I'm considering longevity with the team and my favorite guys. I kinda like having a goalie jersey b/c it's more rare. I'd like to get a Varly, but I have a suspicion his body is never going to allow him to be a full-time NHL goalie, so maybe Neuvy (who has a 3-year deal now as well. Perreault would be my #1, but do you gys think he'll last with the team? He seems like possible trade bait to me, though I love how he plays the game and thinks he deserves a spot on the nightly roster.

As to the "new" jerseys, I have a Green, Backstrom and Ovechkin. I would suggest a Carlson as that's next on my list too!

If you're looking for longevity from your caps sweater I'd go with the 74 or 30. I want to get a 39, but I have 2 jerseys already

I agree on the 5-2, and since the goals have been Green's 2nd, Chimera's 3rd, and Flash's 4th... I'll say the next two are Backstrom's 5th and crud, nobody with 5 to go to 6. I'll say Schultz on a EN.
