A good friend of mine played with Jovo in the juniors. Apparently he was not sharpest tool in the shed... his nickname was "Special Ed."
But when he got angry, look out. He would do something amazing or he would do something really dumb. Either way he was a fun player to watch.

I agree that you shouldn't whine and moan about suspensions, take your medicine and stay quiet. I still think the league needs a disciplinary committee rather than a single person though because Campbell definitely hates the Flames.

Not long ago I would have disagreed with you, telling you that Campbell doesn't "hate" or "love" any particular team or player. But since the emails came out, I'm going to go ahead and assume that he's got some sort of bias or pre-disposed opinion on almost every team, player, and coach in the NHL.
I agree, I think they should let the GMs vote on suspensions. After an incident, 28 GMs cast votes. You need two thirds majority in favor of a suspension to levy one, and if it's agreed on to suspend him you take the average time recommended by the GMs.
edit: just to clarify, before the emails came out I just thought he was batshit crazy and inconsistent.
