The conference crossover schedule in the B10 is quite a bit different from the PAC. The PAC teams only miss 2 teams the entire year and all 4 Cali schools have permanent crossovers with each other.Iowa is the team I could see being a thorn. But I'm liking what I saw out of the huskers offense. I think their solid sleeper to take the West next year. The following year I think theyre top contenders in the west imo. Gotta see he cross conference schedules in the B1G first tho. I'm guessing the B1G uses the same system as the PAC
For the B10, they give every team one permanent crossover game for 6 years before it is switched. For those 6 years, you rotate among those other 6 schools getting a home&home with each.
For Nebraska it worked like this
2016-2021 once we went to 9 games:
- OSU (every year from 2016-2021)
- MD (2016, 2019)
- IND (2016, 2019)
- RUT (2017, 2020)
- PSU (2017, 2020)
- MICH (2018, 2021)
- MSU (2018, 2021)
As you can see, our 2019 schedule "appears" to be one of our easiest while 2018 was one of our most difficult. Also due to the fact that the B10 West teams get 5 conf. home games in odd numbered years.
They've also already revealed our next annual crossover opponent from 2022-2027 to be Michigan! I will definitely attend a few of those games!!!
