November 21- VS BKLYN
November 23- VS GSW
November 26- VS UTAH
November 28- VS NYK
December 2- @ New Orleans
December 5- @ Philly
December 7- @ Detroit
December 9- VS Milwaukee

That is 8 games and they gotta go 5-3 at least....6-2 would be nice.

5-3 gets them to 8-13 with hopefully westbrook returning

If they are #8 they play the #1 seed and don't have home court in any round. If they are #1 they play the #8 seed and have home court all the way through.
Not the same at all.
If they survive the first round as #8 seed the teams they face in future rounds will be the same, but not the home court.
And facing Memphis versus NO (current 1 and 8) in the first round is a big difference to begin with.

Its now a very difficult season in OKC. A season that may be lost. I still wonder if their window did pass. I would not let KD smell free agency because he is going to have a tough time rejecting the propositions coming his way (as Davis will face two years later).

They couldn't have anticipated both KD and Russ going down. With a healthy team or even one of them out Ibaka is better for their team.

Not necessarily a stupid comment at all. OKC is a team with championship aspirations. Because of that, they are going to have to go through some combination of the Spurs, Grizzlies, Rockets, Warriors, Clippers, etc. to get there. It really doesn't matter who they face or what round they face them in because the West playoffs are likely to be a bloodbath this year.

The worst part of this is likely no homecourt advantage in any round. The good part is having Westbrook, KD, etc. healed, rested and playing well when the playoffs start. They may have to sneak in as a 7 or 8 seed, but they would be no ordinary 7 or 8 seed.

They have 2 guys playing that wouldn't even be in the league without all of the injury's. One of them is starting.

It could get to the point that if KD and Westbrook come back at their expected times, the Thunder will have to go the rest of the season only losing 8 or 9 games because the West is so stacked. Possible, but that's REALLY tough. You may make it, but you'd probably burn yourself out just getting there
