Lanterns will be the 2nd (after Peacemaker) live-action television series of James Gunn's new DC cinematic Universe.

It will focus on the Green Lantern Corps, particularly Hal Jordan and John Stewart. Gunn has described this series as a dark mystery series similar to True Detective.
