I just mean it's the end of an era for the Devils. They had a long period of sustained excellence, but it's looking like the next few years are going to be rebuilding the pieces again.

Don't know if they can lock up parise and get a decent draft pick the year I kind of feel they will bounce back pretty quick.only concern I have is their doing to have to address the goal situation soon and they have to find the heart and work ethic that got them where they were.let's see what they get for langs and what other moves they have planned.

I don't think he'll be going to Philly as Lou has never made a trade with Philly in his 23 years with the Devils. But you'll never know since he did do something out of sorts when he signed Kovy...but that I think was more of Lou being under duress from people above him him the organization making him sign Kovy.
It has also been rumoured that Philly offered 2 draft picks but Captail Lou was said to have a better offer. This all comes from fire and ice.

Yeah i agree with that i would be surprised if Langs heads to Philly i can see Dallas being a much higher possibility. Langenbrunner never actually wanted to leave Dallas all those years ago when he was traded to NJ. A lot has changed obviously but still.
