I'm surprised no thread on this great show, starring Billy Bob, Jon Hamm and Demi Moore. From Taylor Sheridan, the guy behind Yellowstone, Tulsa King, 1883, etc.

Damn good, show Ali Larter is superficial but hot. Great from the beginning to the end, only the relationship of Billy Bob's son and his girl makes no sense. Other than that, you only wish it was more than 10 episodes.

I don't understand what people find so great about this show. It's mostly just a soap opera set in an oil town. Billy Bob is really good. But the Ali Larter's character is ridiculous as is the daughter whose primary purpose in the show is to walk around it short shorts. The son isn't a whole lot better as the Christlike figure who is nearly murdered because he talked so a wido.

Cooper is the one part of this series I cant stand. Wish they would just cut out his part of the story. His character arc is horrible.
Its like they tried to put many years of character building & fit into a couple episodes. Every time they jump to his storyline. I cringe & just want them to make it stop. he went from a snot nosed kid to owning plots in record time & no real effort. Wish he got killed off.
The rest of the show I enjoy.
