Most athletes coming out of NC usually have a solid foundation of fundamentals and a winning culture. Look forward to see how he works out with us.

First off Kendall is far from an athlete...... Cant shoot, cant defend..... Good passer maybe hes like Andre Miller wrong....... Not strong at all, not savy, all he can do is pass but he cant really dribble hes probly like Nash right now just to slow 2 get any seperation but will never be like Nash in prime. Maybe he develops but theres a reason we let him go so easily. Also hes a smart kid, but we started Dionte Garret over him in the summer league...... Where the hell is that guy now. Kendall was the worse pg in the summer league.

He's been one of the better players in the D-League. 46% from deep indicates to me that he can shoot. Can't say I watched many Sun's game last year, but the stats indicate he didn't get much of an opportunity to play (14.6 MPG). I'll reserve judgment until I see him get some good burn.

This is definitely not the KM that I saw play at UNC. I haven't seen him play since he's been in the NBA, so I won't comment on his current play.

The assessment that he CAN'T do those those things is inaccurate. Maybe his game has translated yet, time will tell.

As Jim Carrey states, one man's garbage is another man's potpourri! We'll see how it goes.

46% in d league was probably cause they watched him in the nba and Hornaseck probably worked with his shot in the off season and fixed it up but dude I'm not trying to be a dick but he is just to slow to run on a nba floor. Yea he can pop that wide open tripple but his mid range and everything else is Garbo seriously dude he is the worse shooter I have seen in a suns uni in quite sometimes.

Interesting signing. Another young player who may just need the opportunity to play. We'll see.

Un-athletic, slow and a had bad attitude. That's all I have to say about his time in PHX. He's played well in the D-League, but that doesn't mean much. You guys need to stay away from former Suns PG's. lol

Honestly though, it's not a bad signing. No risk in it or anything... I was surprised he wasn't signed sooner.

I am with ya' Lakersrule. I think this Marshall kid is another one of those players that Mitch may have found that has been somewhere else working on his trade (like farmar, Shaggy P, and Wes Johnson) and wanting to come to the Lakers for a league minimum. This seems to be a pattern and very good template that got us the present roster save Kobe, Gasbag, and Nash.

At some point, the Lakers need to decide who to offer extensions to and who to let go and get on with the rebuild with draft selections. This is a very exciting trend and I think the Lakers can really go somewhere if they get this FA max deal bullshit out of their thinking for awhile and build with players like we have and the draft. Magic has endorsed this, Shaq has endorsed this, and so has Worthy, Coop, and Scott. They must know something that short Buss doesn't.

That's true; I can hardly wait to see which team overpays for Carmelo Anthony next summer.

He has great court vision & swag to his passing ability, I hope he does well, he will love being in LA that's for sure that should be extra motivation :suds:

Swag? Maybe at Carolina. Don't expect it on this level, though.

I mean, the Lakers might as well take a chance on him (I don't know about the multi-year contract, though), but don't expect a Nick Van Exel-type presence.

I mean, it'll probably be the Knicks, but that's why they're the Knicks. I wonder what other max bidders will emerge, though.
