The Boston Bruins have re-signed forward David Krejci to a three-year contract extension. The decision is expected to be made official at a press conference later today.

Through 20 games this season, Krejci has four goals, nine assists and is a minus-2.

The 25-year-old has spent his entire five-year career in Boston and played an important part in the Bruins' Stanley Cup run last year, recording 23 points in 25 post-season games.

Through 318 NHL games, the former second round draft pick has 62 games and 227 points.

I think it's steep. However, the Bruins look more & more like the Red Wings. They've got a long way to go before they reach the Wings status. I mean 20 years is a long time, but the Bruins look to be on their way.
