The Kings didn’t protect Quick, which is fine. But they protected Dustin Brown?!

Got it, thanks. Found it on ESPN2 at 5pm PT. I have seen so many lists I think I will just wait to see what happens. The NHL channel had them taking Lizotte.

I am hoping the leaked list is completely wrong. Also what deals were made to select or not select people.

I am with you. I want to hear about the side deals etc. as well. As I get older, I am starting to enjoy the GM aspect of sports almost as much as the games themselves. However, I dont know that area nearly as well as Puck.

Read Rangers want Mark Giordano, so Kraken might take him just to move to NYR for picks and retained salary. Kraken seem to be picking all youth with low caps hits in order to weaponize their cap in this "Flat Cap" year. They didn't take the Minnesota goalie, so there is a pretty strong feeling Bill Guerin sent them something (Picks?) to not take him.

Definitely will be interesting to learn about all the side deals.

I saw one guy breaking down that he didn't even think they would reach the cap floor, so that would put them in line to sign someone pretty huge (or multiple players) from free agency if that were true.

I still don’t understand why the hell they protected Brown.
