I read the book and liked it, wondering if the movie ends like the book. A lot of people hated the ending but I thought it was OK.

The book just ends according to most reviewers. I disagree a bit, I think there is an ending (kind of) but it does end abruptly. I was even fooled by how quickly it ended because there was a preview for another book at the end. So it ended for me when I thought I had 10 more pages. So I'm wondering if they added a twist, or the abrupt ending is a twist, or if there is no twist.
