Knicks vs Pacers series thread

Should be another interesting series. Indiana is sort of like Boston but just better. They have a better defense than Boston and their offense is not nearly as bad.

If the Knicks struggle to score 90 points as they did in the Boston series they will not win this series.

I have no idea who's going to win this series. I'm torn between Pacers in 6 and Knicks in 7

Thoughts and opinion?

I think pacers are the 2nd best team in the east. Pacers in 6, will be interesting

Pacers kinda fall off on the road... Knicks aren't that team though IMO... Tough call I'd have to go Pacers in 6... But Knicks take it if they go 7... I know that was weak but both teams show flashes...

I think the Pacers are a better team to begin with, but I'm also concerned about Melo's shoulder a bit.

I don't see the Pacers winning this series unless Melo's shoulder continues to be an issue. Stat might even be coming back off the bench mid way through this series which would only tip the scales a bit further. The Pacers are good and they play excellent D but they don't have a true go to guy offensively.

Wait, I thought this team played worse with Amare? You should know better than I, but correct me if I'm wrong here: Amare doesn't seem to fit with Melo and he throws the team chemistry off.

Hard to make a prediction now. Woodson will have to somehow figure out a way to switch things up a bit. Indiana will be a faster team to deal with.

It would be nice to be able to get the ball down low to Chandler and try to get Hibbert into some early foul trouble. But don't think Chandler even knows how to bribble the ball. Just blows my mind that he has no offensive game whatsoever. In the league for over 10yrs with a career avg. of 28.5min per game and only 3.6FTA per game. That's pathetic for a 7 footer.

Pacers/Knicks. DEFINITELY a tough one to call. probably is going to go 6 or 7 games imo, but i'd go with NY on this one...

I want to say Knicks but after losing those 2 and almost a third they worry me... But then same for Indiana and they played the Hawks... Like I said both show flashes of being great, but feels like if the Knicks have a cold game at home Indy can steal 1 and win at home, but if the Knicks stay hot at home they win in 7... That's how I see it... Would have loved for one to be in the upper brackets so they both had a crack at Miami though... I think both have a shot at taking them out...

oh i DEFINITELY think both teams COULD beat the Heat. you're right, though, it would've been MUCH more fun to see Miami have to go through BOTH of them...

This is going to be Pacers in 5-6. Knicks had trouble with Boston that revealed some major flaws. Scoring is way too hard for them against focused defense. Pacers can have a bad game and still beat the Knicks.

Since when did they make it for it to be an "8 second rule", that the shot clock has to be 15? I thought it was 16. If its 15 now, then it should be "9 second rule"
