I think the only reason people were happy RG3 got hurt was they feel KC gives us a better chance to win. And the only way KC sees the field is if RG3 got hurt.

That does not mean I am cheering for RG3 to get injured...there is a difference.

Have to agree. I never wanted to see RG3 injured. Good luck to Kirk, I hope Griffin recovers quickly. But I also want to see the team win.

Thank you! As I have always stated I am a Redskins fan period - not a fan of any one player. I hope for nothing but the best for Cousins & the rest of the team & also a speedy recovery for RG3 (would wish that for anyone on any team).

For the Redskins fans - let it go already. Root for the freaking team & forget about the Cousins vs RG3 nonsense. That most likely won't come into play until next season - simply enjoy the current season. As for the Eagles troll - take a hike pal!

Luckily there is a VERY small minority of skins fans on this board that I've seen happy about an injury...ours or another teams...

And they do not represent the vast majority of the skins faithful.

I only hope those posting that way realize that this type of posting or sentiment is NOT appreciated at all by skins fans on this board or true fans of the game of football.

Dean. Please slow your roll. Nothing at all has been proven except that Capt Kirk had a great game yesterday against the Jags, a team that is struggling mightily who had some key injuries.

Skins had a great TEAM win. No one is crowning KC King of anything. He has the opportunity to prove he is all you have already credited him with, but he has proven nothing yet.

He didn't prove he was the better QB in pre-season? He puts up 41 points coming of the bench and you guys discount the performance. Everyone says its Jax but Jax almost beat Philly.

Cousins will make the team better this season that it was with RG3 as the starter. He is a better QB. He knows how to play from the pocket and that is what you guys struggled with.

Amen to that. I certainly hope that Cousins and the Redskins do nothing but great things for the rest of the season. However - lets just take things as they come. Let's see what happens over the next several weeks when they play teams like the Eagles & Seahawks.

All of this is still a work in progress, and we need to keep our expectations in check. Late in the game yesterday I noticed Cousins trying to force the ball into coverage a bit (don't blame him given the rest of the day). Against better teams he will have to be more careful in that area. He may be better suited for this offense, but he is also still learning. For better or worse let's save the judgements until later in the season.

I appreciate your loyalty to the team. However - you need to take the homer glasses off every now & then. You were also the one saying that there was no way that the Redskins would lose to the Texans. You failed to see the fact that the Texans have a lot of talent on that roster including quite possibly the best player in the NFL. You have to remember that moving forward the Redskins will be playing a lot of good teams. I hope for nothing but the best but try to be objective. I just don't want to see you bitching about the team & the QB when they fail in some of their games. Try to keep an open mind.

Pretty sad to cheer for an injury...that said, Cousins looked great yesterday...but truthfully it wasn't that hard...he gets at least the next 4 starts, maybe longer...if he's playing this well against DIV foes, I think you have to keep playing him when RG3 comes back.

Any time you start a sentence with "I would rather RG3 get hurt...." you are guilty as charged. I can only imagine your reaction to me if I had started a sentence, regardless of the qualifiers put in after, with
"I would rather Kirk Cousins get hurt....:"

Not as guilty as deanpet21, there should be no doubt he was cheering as the QB of his team was screaming in pain, but you are still guilty.
