Calls and Non Calls in this game were horrible. Belichick threw the challenge on the run that was stopped a yard from the line of scrimmage and lost the challenge when the ref said he wasn't going to review it. He knew the call was wrong but didn't want to embarass his crew. This crew sucks. How about Hogan being thrown to the ground while being tackled by the face mask?..No call......It just goes on and on. This crew has the least defensive calls of all crews.

While I'm not a big fan of the helmet to helmet rule due to the speed of the game. The amount of plain as day helmet to helmet calls that have been missed are mind boggling to me. The horrible calls on Clay Matthews early in the year. The missed off-sides calls for the Chargers this year.

Its been a bad year for officiating in the NFL this year.

Anybody remember all of that talk surrounding the Vikings and all of their SB aspirational needs centered around having a better QB than Keenum? Maybe it was just plain dumb luck that they finished the 2017 regular season at 13-3, but if there are any Viking fans reading this, I ask you, were you really expecting 6-5-1 with that upgrade?

That talk isn't anything new though. Same theme with Blake Bortles and Jax FO made a mistake betting on him.

Vikings fans have to be disappointed now. They were Super Bowl contenders in the off season. Still a lot of season left but with the Packers and Lions a mess the Vikings should be a hell of a lot better.
You do realize that the Vikings OC from last season is now the Giants HC, yes?

Cousins has his issues, but not many QB's would have a better record on the Vikings. Sure, we've got plenty of talent at the skill positions, but the OL is still a weak spot, and the secondary can't stay healthy. Shurmur leaving to go coach NYG hurt more than was expected. I expect the Vikes to be much better next year with Cousins having 1 year under DeFilippo's offense.

So Kirk Cousins isn't Jesus. Who knew? Redskins fans did.

I'd still rather have Cousins as our QB and not Smith. Anyone disagree?

I too would rather have Kirk in DC but to say the skins would have 2 losses with #8 at QB is one of the most ridiculous things I’ve read in a long time

Does it really matter that much. Would be extremely shocked if anyone other than the Saints or Rams represent the NFC in SB.

The Vikes were supposed to be in the running. If they don't make the playoffs it would be a huge disappointment.

Of course it will be disappointing, but it's not like it's the same team from last year.

that's the point they gave KC 90mg to put them over the top. They felt Keenaum couldn't do it.

Maybe keenum told them he wouldn’t sign there, just like you think KC did here?

You are debating an ABC er . One that
Wont admit his choice for qb , CDC , was an abject failure and everything he said CDC as never came to pass as he was one of the lowest ranking starters In the NFL

Belichek did what he does to everyone. He takes away what you to best. He made Cousin's check the ball down. Meanwhile Cook had 84 yards on 9 carries. Coach Flip thought he could force NE's hand, he was wrong.

As a certified KC nut hugger I would still have kept him, especially if my choice was to give up two resources and pay almost as much money for Smith instead.
It's amazing what good coaching can accomplish. Wish we had our own BB.

I just wish they had a coach who could manage something as simple as not letting the damn play clock run down to 0 on a regular basis (resulting in wasted timeouts, delay of games & rushed plays). I have now seen this occur constantly w/ 4 different QBs over the last few years so Gruden must have a lot to do with this.

Actually you didn't have to be a genius. Minnesota's OLine has struggled all year due to injury. It was the smart thing to do. Pats did a great job of getting pressure up the middle.

Bears beat the crap out of Cousin's two games before that.

But yes, I wish we had better coaching.

Gruden called a timeout last night to avoid a delay of game when the ball was on our own 6 inch line. He called a timeout to save three inches. Unbelievable!
