Fans that know far more than myself.... Is the Kings farm system so fleeced that Shore is the best option? What is a layman viewer like myself missing when I watch him play? What does he bring to the table? To the novice fan, he's completely outmatched every shift.

Versteeg took that puck to the inside of his leg, immediately fell to the ice and needed help getting off. Not sure what his status will be, but that look liked it hurt like hell

Good news for Versteeg

Definitely good news. Nothing about him has jumped out at me in LA, seems like he is doing OK while trying to fit in but he hasn't done much negative either. Will say he is a team guy, been here less than 3 weeks and has already been DTD twice sticking up for his team and then blocking a shot.

It'll be nice to see Gaborik back, I almost forgot about that guy, it'll almost be like getting a free agent at playoff time. Hopefully he jumps right back in, he was starting to get hot when he got injured.
