How Well Have the Los Angeles Kings Drafted Since 2000?

I have only skimmed it but it looked good. Summers are long when your team misses the post season and you can only read about your team on the police blotter

Thanks for the link, different takes on my analysis a few weeks ago on 1st-3rd round picks and NHL players produced.

The Kings have always seemed to do well after the 4th round (Blake, Visnovsky, King, Martinez, etc.), little surprised to see the lack of over all success in the 3rd round although Quick is a recent one. Definitely an anomaly though, Dumbo took over after 2005 and went into full blown draft pick hoarding mode going for percentages (more picks = more chance an NHL player will be produced) so you'd think there would be better success.

The overall numbers look decent, especially considering Al Murray was at the wheel but with my analysis it proved if it wasn't a 1st round pick dude pretty much shit the bed. It's all those late rounders that have balanced out the craphole Murray left behind.
