Tough blow for the Thunder. They really need a bench scorer who can spread the floor. They seem to be getting gobbled up.

Not surprising at all. That Harden trade looks awful right now.

them being cheap or possibly unable to afford players will cost them titles for what should have been a team that could compete top tier for many years.

No matter what Durant says right now, he will be leaving for the same reasons LBJ did.

Back with Adelman. good for both of them. Timberwolves actually have a 2 guard now as much as I hate the chucker.

No Jeremy Lamb fans here? He had a lot of talent coming out and has only been in the league what 1 year?

Yep. The days of staying under the luxury tax and winning a title will not happen when you see other teams (Heat, Lakers, Nets, etc.) willing to go well into it to put the most competitive roster in place. That James Harden trade is really really biting them right now.

I thought this too but I thought Martin's replacement was going to be JJ Redick, Chase Budinger, or Mike Dunleavy. All got signed up. What quality shooters are left? I suppose they could go super cheap with Dorrel Wright or Wayne Ellington but those guys don't give you anything but shooting. Martin and the guys I had in mind could at least be servicable starters on most every team.

Wow! Tough blow for OKC even though it was a bad trade for Harden in the first place. Now they have 2 needs. A big that can score and a scorer/distributor off the bench.

Good for Minny, they need shooters
Thats going to be a nice team that will surprise some people. Just goes to show you how small the window is for a championship. OKC goes from a contender to just being on the edge.

Let's not rule OKC out just yet. They still may come out of the West, despite their issues.

The Spurs will be a year older. The Grizzlies let their coach go. The Clippers could be the team to beat, but I need to see it first. Houston and GS could end up being near the top depending on how their off season's go. There is no clear cut choice at the moment, IMO.

He avg. 6min a game last season. Not even close enough to get a read....

I'm not sure OKC makes a big move. They may be ready to move him and Perry Jones into getting more minutes.

I guess Kevin Martin would rather play on a losing team and score 20 ppg then sacrifice a little of his own individual stats and play for a contender
