Homegrown is always better
People complain we have no homegrown talent. Kemp, Aj Ellis, Kersh are all homegrown folks. Yes we have had to go in free agency and 'buy' players but Kasten has also committed to rebuilding our farm and we are not the irst or the last team to have a high payroll.
As well as Ethier. Nate Eovaldi is from our organization, Edwin Jackson came up with the Dodgers, Cody Ross was a catcher in our system, I'm pretty sure Jayson Werth is from our system as well? Adrian Beltre I think? Jonathan Broxton. There are plenty of players from our system in the league, and we kept all the best ones for the most part.
Ethier wasnt homegrown we got him in a trade with the A's. We do have a decent amount of homegrown players though and people conveniently ignore how Mccourt hampered our franchise for years.
Yeah we did even with Ethier's struggles now. I remember 2011 when Dre was Mr. Walk Off
If I recall correctly, we obtained Werth from Toronto. He was always hurt so the Dodgers let him go.
Matt Harvey is out for the year, all but rapping up Kershaw's 2nd NL Cy Young
End of thread.
