I did not get to see the game, but 20 shots from Harrison is not the answer. January has always been upset time. That is when teams start to come together. Kentucky is not there yet. The offense has to go inside out. If the ball is stagnant on the perimeter it plays into the oppositions hands
And they are still undefeated. It's so easy to say UK is eventually going to lose. Any mouth breather can say that and 99.9999 percent of the time be right. The people licking the windows of a city bus can make that prediction.
It's basketball. Every team they play will treat it like their NC. Every court is different. Yet UK is still undefeated.
It's not that Kentucky is so dominant, it's that they play in a weaker conference. I believe that's why many thought they could possibly do undefeated. That, and they caught a streaky KU squad on a bad day on national television and absolutely humiliated them. That said, I do think they are still the best team in basketball. I know UVA is getting a ton of hype tight now, and deservedly so, but I doubt they have the individual offensive talent to stick with a team like Kentucky when their defensive gameplan finally lapses. UVA reminds me of Florida State this season in football. Getting the job done, but...not looking great while doing it.
I doubt any major conference team goes undefeated or even finishes with 1 loss. They all have to go through a meat grinder week in and week out. Looking at the schedule, I'd say Gonzaga likely has the best chance of finishing with just 1 loss. They have a fairly easy path the rest of the way.
