Kentucky's offense is so stupid. they run 20 seconds off the clock every possession and then fight the clock. why? u have more talent at nearly every position, a great defense, and depth. it makes no sense whatsoever. they need to treat stein like joakim noah. he should only be used to clean up under the rim. he has no offensive game

Possibly it stems from the other team playing good defense??? You know it's a lot harder to score,run plays...or even complete your drive with the other team sinking their defensive claws in your ass and pinning your ears back. {BIG credit to the Gators for their defense}

When you are held out of the interior by good defensive play, you pass the ball, across or around the edges, probing until you find a seam or a weakness to exploit.

There is always a defensive measure designed to counteract any offensive play....and to have any success you have to find the weakness in that defensive scheme.

My opinion would always be.....take enough time to find and exploit the weakness of the defensive team...don't just launch a 3 ball or drive blindly into a defensive wall......

Also. please don't compare Willie to Joakim Noah.

Florida played a very inspired game and really had a chance to win. A couple of 3's in and out down the stretch and Kentucky making 21 of 22 foul shots really saved the day for the cats along with Arron Harrison playing better than he knows how. Also Towns is the real deal inside; not Culley-Stein. I think Florida has the type team that can give Kentucky a tough time because the Florida guards are quicker than the Kentucky guards, except for Ulis. It was a good game to watch and congrats to the Cats for hanging tough on a tough court.

Props to Florida. I think if they had Frazier they could have challenged for the W.

Haven't watched that much of UF this year, but is Walker really that useless? This is exactly the kind of thing he's supposed to be good for. Mindless banging with other athletic bigs and crashing the boards.

Walker has been a huge disappointment. Hopefully he will get better and be a force inside next year.

Yes, but in a coaching sense, wouldn't it have made sense to play him more.

Towns and Cauley-Stein had their way on the boards. That was the ballgame.

Even if Walker can bother them a bit or grab a few boards, it changes things. Nobody is asking him to score or pass like those guys.

I just thought that was curious they didn't play him more.

Reason, as I see it, he does not know how to protect against the drive finds himself out of position, and doesn't block out on defense, giving up cheap baskets. I think Towns is now the premier big man for Kentucky. That guy is big, quick, and can score. Really don't see him sticking around for another year. That said, Kentucky will always have their way on the boards. If a team wants to beat Kentucky they have to trap the guards and play great transition ball. Just can't let Kentucky set up on defense. Problem is that takes a lot of energy and a deep bench. Other than Kentucky, who has a deep bench?

yes, Florida could have won this game. Florida outplayed Kentucky..just could not deal with the bigs inside. No one else can either. Kentucky's weakness is their guards. Once Booker and Ulis get some more playing time, that team will be just fine.

I think the big weakness is at the 3. Lots of 4/5s and 2s on the team, but SF is pretty barren. I would be really interested to see how a Ulis, Harrison, Booker, Cauley Stein, and Towns line-up would perform. Google luck doubling the post vs that

That deep? Nobody.

No one will wear Kentucky out, or put the fear of foul trouble in them. They'll have to be out-coached and out-played. Obviously, it'll take a great performance by the opponent and/or a poor performance by UK. We've seen a few less than stellar teams come close, so I believe it's possible.

I think if Jalen Jones was playing in the Kentucky game A&M probably would've beaten them at Reed but I don't know.

Exactly. Fail to impress? They are unbeaten. They won against a Florida team that have them their best shot, ar home, with Lyles out, and it still didn't matter. The only thing you can say about UK is they play down to their competition, because they've blown out most of the better teams on their schedule. If they fail to impress, you're simply a hater

This is going to be a reoccurring theme for you guys. Best class in the country after returning the best class in the country... there was also a college coach saying you guys could beat some NBA teams. Of course you're going to get some criticism when you don't beat everyone 100 to nothing. Who cares what the rest of us say. It's all opinion. Just enjoy being on top. :suds:
