I know Brooks and Dorsey are back which is huge but is Oregon really gonna be that good again?

They lose Cook and Boucher their talented size.

Boucher was granted another year of eligibility. Their current starting 5 will look like:
PG: Benson
SG: Dorsey (although I could see him declaring)
SF: Brooks
PF: Bell
C: Boucher

Bench: Dylan Ennis, Kendall Small

No idea what their incoming class looks like, but that's a solid as hell roster. Still find it very unlikely they will be better than Arizona, especially considering we are likely to get one (Terrance Ferguson) and maybe two (Josh Jackson) McD AA's to go with three other 5-star frosh.

Oregon also has Sorkin who came from I dont think was rated by any recruiting service because he came from Europe. He was on the Israeli junior national team there. he is 6'10".

Oregon's incoming class is ranked 12th on rivals right now

The Empire Strikes Back:nod:

You guys are loaded next year.

I just hope Allen decides he wants to start his bust of an NBA career a year earlier.

I think Oregon will be about the same next year even possibly better(assuming everyone stays) They had a fairly young starting line up in the backcourt, and getting Boucher back is huge. Plus they'll have more depth next year IMO due to their young players being a year older and their incoming class. Pac 12 is going to be loaded next year. Oregon, Arizona, UCLA, Washington(assuming Chriss and Murray return), could all be top 15 teams.

I really think next year could be one of the strongest years in recent memory. And for a couple of reasons. The 2015 recruiting class was one of the weakest of the last 15 years, therefore, there shouldn't be as many guys leaving one and done, and 2016's recruiting class is one of the better ones in recent memory. Should be a lot of talent at the P5 level.

Didn't Chriss and Murray already hire agents?

They may have, I'm not sure, I knew they declared, but didn't know if they hired any agents, if they're gone that's a huge loss, obviously for UW.

I know it's too early, but Ken Pom has his Top 10 out for next year, and the only reason I'm posting it is because it's a curious list.

Louisville, Kentucky Top Ken Pomeroy’s Preseason Top 10 For 2016-17 College Basketball Season

Louisville? Really?

I love Kentucky being there. Its just funny. I read the entire team declared itself eligible for the draft. All them wont leave (some didnt take agents just went in to get a grade), but as of right now nobody knows exactly who wil be back. The class has 5 studs coming in, but they have never played CBB and never played together. Somehow that equates to #2 in the nation.

I'm guessing you didn't read the article?

I find Louisville a baffling choice considering the talent leaving.

But onuaku is an analytics darling and he's not declaring based on the given assumptions.

(I hope the C's draft him at the back of round 1).
