I like cooper but the smart play would to wait and draft G. Beckham. He was better then cooper and was a top 5 pick before off the field crap. He is 6'6 225LBS and runs a 4.37-4.448 range they said. Not bad.

I would like Urban Saban to be our next coach. That's right, a clone of both of these guys. One with the stern, almost robot-like attention to detail of Nick Saban, combined with the snake oil salesman charm of Urban Meyer to woo any recruit, especially ones committed to other programs.

Or David Cutcliffe, I don't know, fuck it. Starting to lose faith in the ND Admin to fix the football program.

I have no clue who to go after if we did lose Kelly. I would try stoops again or maybe go with the coach from Northwestern(not a big fan). Want someone that can continue to recruit.

I can't believe a Notre Dame fan even uttered the name Bobby Petrino and ND coach even within a few sentences. Not just no, but hell no.

ND needs to stop looking at big names and find a coach who can coach. Lou Holtz wasn't the biggest name in CFB when hired, I'm almost certain that Parseghian wasn't either, nor was some guy named Knute Rockne. They have to be able to coach, but they should also like the University as well.

We lost our window of Opp on Meyer. I'm not 100% sold on him but he does get results. Cutcliffe is a decent coach but I don't think he wants to come. Just saying, it doesn't have to be the biggest name in coaching, it has to be the right fit. Kelly is so close, he'd be a damned near perfect coach if he could alter a few things about his style.

I would throw all my ND stuff in the trash if they hired Bobby Petrino.

Harbaugh now in the picture after offing that kind of contract. Harbaugh turned down Mich a couple of weeks ago but they are now in the picture. I don't know why harbaugh would want to go backwards after making 3 championship games and 1 superbowl. He was so close at winning one why go backwards. It will be Harbaugh decision either take the big pay(I think he will get one in the nfl) or chase that super bowl.
